When the Buford family came into the studio, the original brief was to capture photographs of the four grandchildren with their grandparents. A straight forward request allowing time to get a few different poses and then some other shots as well.
Both mums came in. They are sisters so we had a shot of them with their parents too. But one mum had a few extra ideas she wanted me to capture. The hands photograph I think worked beautifully and captures perfectly the strong links that are clear in this family.
The backwards photograph started out as a joke to give everyone a break from smiling! But again, I think it’s a wonderful shot that demonstrates a very relaxed and together family. Do you think you have any more unique ideas than these? Come into the studio and let’s see what we can make.
Next session is this Saturday, 4 June, in Birstall. Call me on 07968 055098 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to book a place.
